The delicate nature of Caudry lace requires special care to avoid stretching the fibers:

• Washing: Hand wash in lukewarm water. Use a mesh laundry bag if you absolutely must use your washing machine's delicate cycle.
• Drying: Gently press in a clean towel to remove excess water, then lay flat to dry. Never hang by the straps to prevent the triangle from deforming under the weight of the water.
• Tip: Store it flat in its case to prevent the clasps of other clothes from pulling the lace threads.
